GNU Smalltalk 3.0 has been released. GNU Smalltalk is a portable, open source Smalltalk-80 implementation.
This release includes: a new syntax for defining classes, a different startup sequence, the movement of several classes to the internal Kernel namespace, the use of the new .star format for packages, Gnuplot bindings, bug fixes, and other changes.
