Qore 0.7.0 has been released. Qore is a weakly-typed, multithreaded scripting language offering procedural and object-oriented capabilities, and SQL integration.

This release includes: a stable and documented API with public C++ header files, performance and memory usage improvements, support for runtime closures, bug fixes, and other changes.

Next FringeDC Formal Meeting on Oct. 11

It has been announced that the next FringeDC formal meeting will be held on October 11, 2008. FringeDC is a group for people in the Washington, D.C. area who are interested in non-mainstream programming languages, including Lisp, Scheme, Haskell, Prolog and Smalltalk.

Andrew Harris will be discussing EmbeddedML.
