Algol 68 Genie Mark 12 has been released. It is an open source Algol 68 interpreter.

iForth32 3.0 has been released. iForth32 is a portable, multithreaded 32-bit ANS Forth implementation.

Windows PowerShell V2 CTP2 has been released. It is a command line shell and scripting language for Windows, with a focus on system administration and automation.

This release includes: support for modules; support for listening, forwarding and acting on management and system events; support for multiple parameter sets in cmdlets; support for hosting PowerShell in IIS; and other changes.

Ctpp 1.0.31 has been released. It is a preprocessor for Ctalk, an object-oriented extension of C.

Kite 1.0b1 has been released. Kite is a small, object-oriented language.

IKVM 0.36 Update 2 Release Candidate 1 has been released. IKVM is a Java implementation running on Mono and the .NET Framework.

PHP 5.2.6 has been released. PHP is a general-purpose scripting language, suitable for Web development and embedding within HTML.

This release includes security and bug fixes.

It has been announced that the ACM Special Interest Group on the APL and J Languages is to be merged with the ACM Special Interest Group on Programming Languages.

PyOhio has put out a call for presentations. It is a day-long regional mini-conference to be held on July 26, 2008, in Columbus, Ohio.

OpenCOBOL 1.1-pre has been released. OpenCOBOL is a portable, open source COBOL implementation.

Scheme2Js 20080430 has been released. It is a Scheme compiler that emits JavaScript.

This release includes: runtime and compiler bug fixes.

Blue 1.5.4 has been released. Blue is a portable, high-level, dynamic programming language.

This release includes: performance improvements, a bugfix regarding the 'self' variable in 'do' and 'loop' blocks, and other changes.
