JRuby 1.1RC3 has been released. JRuby is a Ruby interpreter written in Java.

This release candidates includes: a number of bug fixes, performance improvements, and other changes.

Parrot 0.6.0 has been released. Parrot is a virtual machine designed to efficiently execute dynamic languages.

This release includes: an updated PMC implementation; a cleanup of the IMCC documentation; updates and improvements to the C99, lolcode, Rakudo Lua, Cardinal, Pheme, EcmaScript, Tcl, Eclectus and WMLScript implementations; other changes and bug fixes.

It has been announced that the next FringeDC meeting will be held on March 22, 2008. FringeDC is a group for people in the Washington, D.C. area who are interested in non-mainstream programming languages, including Lisp, Scheme, Haskell, Prolog and Smalltalk.

newLISP 9.3.4 has been released. newLISP is a portable, general purpose, Lisp-like scripting language.

This release includes: a quicker way to create dictionaries, the addition of 'read-expr', bug fixes, and other changes.

The March 11 to 18, 2008 edition of the Caml Weekly News is now available. It summarises recent developments within the Caml community.

IronPython 2.0 Beta 1 has been released. IronPython is an implementation of Python running on .NET.

This release includes: support for PEP 328 and PEP 302, 'sys' as a real builtin module, improvements to the -X:PreferComDispatch flag, and other changes.

REBOL 2.7.6 has been released. REBOL is a dynamic, multi-paradigm language, with emphasis placed on networked and distributed computing.

cfunge 0.1.0 has been released. It is a Befunge98 interpreter.

This is the initial release.

Gambas 2.3 has been released. Gambas is a development environment and BASIC-like language implementation with object-oriented extensions.

This release includes: IDE support for creating Debian and Ubuntu packages for component projects, the opening of device files by the interpreter in non-blocking mode, updates to the MySQL database driver, and other changes.

Blue 1.5 has been released. Blue is a portable, high-level, dynamic programming language.

IKVM 0.36 Update 1 Release Candidate 5 has been released. IKVM is a Java implementation running on Mono and the .NET Framework.
