The Nordic Perl Workshop 2007 has been announced. The Nordic Perl Workshop is a "yearly event aimed at giving some focus on Perl and Perl use in the nordic countries."

The workshop will be held on April 28 and 29, 2007, in Copenhagen, Denmark.

FOAL 2007 Call for Papers

The 2007 Foundations of Aspect-Oriented Languages workshop has put out a call for papers. It aims to "foster work in foundations, including formal studies, promote the exchange of ideas, and encourage workers in the semantics and formal methods communities to do research in the area of aspect-oriented programming languages."

The submission deadline is January 10, 2007. The workshop will be held on March 13, 2007, in Vancouver, Canada.

ICFP 2007 Call for Workshop Proposals

The 12th ACM SIGPLAN International Conference on Functional Programming has put out a call for workshop proposals. "ICFP 2007 provides a forum for researchers and developers to hear about the latest work on the design, implementations, principles, and uses of functional programming. The conference covers the entire spectrum of work, from practice to theory, including its peripheries."

The submission deadline is November 17, 2006. The workshops will be held on September 30, October 4 and October 5, 2007 in Freiburg, Germany.

The 2007 ACM SIGPLAN Workshop on Types in Language Design and Implementation has put out a call for papers. "TLDI is a workshop on the role of types in all aspects of language design, compiler construction, and software development."

The submission deadline is October 1, 2006. The workshop will be held on January 16, 2007, in Nice, France.

PLAN-X 2007 Submission Deadline Extension Announced

It has been announced that the submission deadline for PLAN-X 2007: Programming Language Techniques for XML has been extended until October 10, 2006. This workshop "turns the spotlight on how programming languages can embrace, for example, tree-shaped XML data structures, regular expression types extracted from schema descriptions, very small or large XML instances, queries against XML data, and XML transformations."

The workshop will be held on January 20, 2007, in Nice, France.

The Commercial Users of Functional Programming Workshop 2006 has put out a call for participation. CUFP aims to "act as a voice for commercial users of functional programming languages and technology. It aims to help functional programming become increasingly viable as a technology for use in the commercial, industrial, governmental, and open-source space by providing a forum for FP professionals to share their experiences and ideas, whether business, management or engineering. It also aims to enable the formation and strengthening of relationships and alliances that further the commercial use of functional languages."

The workshop will be held on September 21, 2006, in Portland, Oregon. The early registration deadline is August 18, 2006.

CP 2006 Call for Workshop and Tutorial Proposals

The 2006 International Conference on Principles and Practice of Constraint Programming has put out a call for workshop and tutorial proposals. The conference is "concerned with all aspects of computing with constraints, including: algorithms, applications, environments, languages, models, and systems."

The workshop proposal submission deadline is March 31, 2006, with the tutorial proposal submission deadline being May 19, 2006. The conference itself will be held from September 25 to 29, 2006, in Nantes, France.
