The Nordic Perl Workshop 2007 has been announced. The Nordic Perl Workshop is a "yearly event aimed at giving some focus on Perl and Perl use in the nordic countries."

The workshop will be held on April 28 and 29, 2007, in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The 2007 Foundations of Aspect-Oriented Languages workshop has put out a call for papers. The 12th ACM SIGPLAN International Conference on Functional Programming has put out a call for workshop proposals. "ICFP 2007 provides a forum for researchers and developers to hear about the latest work on the design, implementations, principles, and uses of functional programming. The conference covers the entire spectrum of work, from practice to theory, including its peripheries."

The submission deadline is November 17, 2006. The workshops will be held on September 30, October 4 and October 5, 2007 in Freiburg, Germany.

It also aims to enable the formation and strengthening of relationships and alliances that further the commercial use of functional languages."
