PLPV 2010 Call for Participation

Workshops

The Fourth ACM SIGPLAN Workshop on Programming Languages meets Program Verification has put out a call for participation. The workshop aims to "foster and stimulate research at the intersection of programming languages and program verification."

It will be held on January 19, 2010, in conjunction with POPL 2010 in Madrid, Spain.

PAPP 2010 Call for Papers

Workshops

The Seventh International Workshop on Practical Aspects of High-level Parallel Programming has put out a call for papers. "The PAPP workshop focuses on practical aspects of high-level parallel programming: design, implementation and optimization of high-level programming languages, semantics of parallel languages, formal verification, design or certification of libraries, middlewares and tools (performance predictors working on high-level parallel/grid source code, visualisations of abstract behaviour, automatic hotspot detectors, high-level GRID resource managers, compilers, automatic generators, etc.), application of proof assistants to parallel applications, applications in all fields of computational science, benchmarks and experiments."

Papers are due January 11, 2010. The workshop will be held during the International Conference on Computational Science, being held from May 31 to June 2, 2010, in the Netherlands.

PLAS 2010 Preliminary Call for Papers

The ACM SIGPLAN Fifth Workshop on Programming Languages and Analysis for Security has put out a preliminary call for papers. It "aims to provide a forum for exploring and evaluating ideas on the use of programming language and program analysis techniques to improve the security of software systems."

Submissions are due by March 12, 2010. The workshop will be held on June 10, 2010, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

WFLP 2010 Call for Papers

The 19th Workshop on Functional and (Constraint) Logic Programming has put out a call for papers. The workshop "aims at bringing together researchers interested in functional programming, (constraint) logic programming, as well as the integration of the two paradigms. It promotes the cross-fertilizing exchange of ideas and experiences among researchers and students from the different communities interested in the foundations, applications and combinations of high-level, declarative programming languages and related areas."

Abstract submissions are due November 9, 2009. The workshop will be held on January 17, 2010, in Madrid, Spain.

The 2009 Commercial Users of Functional Programming Workshop has put out a call for participation. "The goal of CUFP is to build a community for users of functional programming languages and technology, be they using functional languages in their professional lives, in an open source project (other than implementation of functional languages), as a hobby, or any combination thereof."

It will be held on September 4, 2009, co-located with ICFP 2009 in Edinburgh, Scotland.

The 2008 European Conference on Object-Oriented Programming has put out a call for workshop proposals. "ECOOP 2008 will host a number of workshops addressing different areas of object-oriented technology. Workshops serve as a forum for exchanging late breaking ideas and theories in an evolutionary stage. They typically focus on either in depth analysis or broad-ranging approaches to areas related to object-oriented technology.

The proposal deadline is December 26, 2007. The conference will be held from July 7 to 11, 2008, in Paphos, Cyprus.
