It has been announced that scans of the original CDC 6000 Pascal compiler source code, from 1976, are now available online.

It has been announced that the Standard Pascal web site has moved to standardpascal.org. The site contains "various information about the standard versions of Pascal as stated by the ISO and ANSI organizations."

Free Pascal 2.2.0 has been released. Free Pascal is a portable, open source Pascal and Object Pascal compiler.

This release includes: 64-bit PPC support; ARM support; Intel Mac OS X support; support for interface delegation; support for bit-packed records and arrays; and other changes.

The Amsterdam Compiler Kit 6.0pre3 has been released. The ACK is an optimizing, retargetable, open source compiler suite supporting a variety of languages, including C, Pascal, Modula-2, BASIC, and Occam.

This release includes: support for generating CP/M binaries using the 8080 code generator, improved ANSI C headers, improved floating-point support, optimizations, bug fixes, and other changes.

Chrome 1.5.9 has been released. Chrome is an Object Pascal implementation for Mono and .NET.

The Amsterdam Compiler Kit 6.0pre2 has been released. ACK is an optimizing, retargetable, open source compiler suite supporting a variety of languages, including C, Pascal, Modula-2, BASIC, and Occam.

This release includes: limited support for i386 Linux binaries, syscall changes, the removal of the K&R C compiler, changes to the built-in libc, plus other changes and bug fixes.

Free Pascal 2.0.4 has been released. Free Pascal is a portable, open-source implementation of Pascal, supporting various Pascal dialects.

This release includes: bugfixes, improved code generation, improved register allocation, improved alignment on modern processors, 64-bit file pointer support on most targets, faster integer-to-string conversion, plus other changes.

paxCompiler v1.0 has been released. It is an embeddable Pascal compiler.

paxCompiler, beta version has been released. paxCompiler is an embeddable compiler for a subset of the Object Pascal language.

Free Pascal 2.0.2 has been released. Free Pascal is a portable, open-source implementation of Pascal, supporting various Pascal dialects.

This release includes: improved SSE support, improved inlining, enhanced variant support, and type checking of compile time expressions, in addition to other changes and bugfixes.

Chris Burrows has announced that he has a prototype of a Pascal-to-Oberon translator written. He is interested in knowing if it would be of use to anyone before proceeding any further.

IP Pascal 1.12.00 has been released. IP Pascal is a portable ISO 7185 Pascal compiler.

This is a bugfix release.
