PyCon 2008 Call for Talk and Tutorial Proposals

PyCon 2008 has put out a call for talk and tutorial proposals. "A conference for Python developers, enthusiasts, and companies, PyCon brings together a diverse group to explore new challenges, launch new businesses and forge new connections within the Python community."

PyCon 2008 will be held from March 13 to 20, 2008, in Chicago.

OOPS 2008 Call for Papers

The 2008 Object-Oriented Programming Languages and Systems track at the 23rd ACM Symposium on Applied Computing has put out a call for papers. It aims "to promote and stimulate further research on the object-oriented programming and distributed-object paradigms."

The paper submission deadline is September 8, 2007. SAC 2008 will be held from March 16 to 20, 2008, in Fortaleza, Brazil.

ICFP07 Call for Participation

The 12th ACM SIGPLAN International Conference on Functional Programming has put out a call for participation. "ICFP 2007 provides a forum for researchers and developers to hear about the latest work on the design, implementations, principles, and uses of functional programming. The conference covers the entire spectrum of work, from practice to theory, including its peripheries."

The early registration deadline is September 7, 2007. The conference will be held from October 1 to 3, 2007, in Freiburg, Germany.

FLOPS 2008 Call for Papers

The Ninth International Symposium on Functional and Logic Programming has put out a call for papers. "FLOPS is a forum for research on all issues concerning declarative programming, including functional programming and logic programming, and aims to promote cross-fertilization and integration between the two paradigms."

The submission deadline is October 10, 2007. The symposium itself will be held from April 14 to 16, 2008, in Ise, Japan.

The 19th International Symposium on Implementation and Application of Functional Languages has put out a call for papers. "The aim of the IFL symposia is to bring together researchers actively engaged in the implementation and application of functional and function-based programming languages. They provide an open forum for researchers who wish to present and discuss new ideas and concepts, work in progress, preliminary results, etc. related primarily but not exclusively to the implementation and application of functional languages."

The symposium will be held from September 27 to 29, 2007, in Freiburg, Germany.
