PyCon 2008 has put out a call for talk and tutorial proposals. "A conference for Python developers, enthusiasts, and companies, PyCon brings together a diverse group to explore new challenges, launch new businesses and forge new connections within the Python community."

PyCon 2008 will be held from March 13 to 20, 2008, in Chicago.

It has been announced that the First Smalltalk Conference of Argentina will be held on December 10, 2007, in Buenos Aires.

WikiCFP has been announced. It is a site for organizing and sharing calls-for-papers, including a section on CFPs concerning programming languages.

The 2008 Object-Oriented Programming Languages and Systems track at the 23rd ACM Symposium on Applied Computing has put out a call for papers. It aims "to promote and stimulate further research on the object-oriented programming and distributed-object paradigms."

The paper submission deadline is September 8, 2007. SAC 2008 will be held from March 16 to 20, 2008, in Fortaleza, Brazil.

The 12th ACM SIGPLAN International Conference on Functional Programming has put out a call for participation. "ICFP 2007 provides a forum for researchers and developers to hear about the latest work on the design, implementations, principles, and uses of functional programming. The conference covers the entire spectrum of work, from practice to theory, including its peripheries."

The early registration deadline is September 7, 2007. The conference will be held from October 1 to 3, 2007, in Freiburg, Germany.

The Ninth International Symposium on Functional and Logic Programming has put out a call for papers. "FLOPS is a forum for research on all issues concerning declarative programming, including functional programming and logic programming, and aims to promote cross-fertilization and integration between the two paradigms."

The submission deadline is October 10, 2007. The symposium itself will be held from April 14 to 16, 2008, in Ise, Japan.

It has been announced that registration is now open for the 23rd International Conference on Logic Programming.

The conference will be held from September 8 to 13, 2007, in Porto, Portugal.

The Third PyConBrasil conference has been announced. It will be held from August 30 to September 1, 2007, in Joinville.

It has been announced that registration is now open for the International Smalltalk Joint Conference 2007. It is "a lively forum on cutting edge software technologies that attract people from both academia and industry for a whole week. The attendees are both engineers using Smalltalk in business and students and teachers using Smalltalk both for research and didactic purposes."

The early registration deadline is July 15, 2007. The conference itself will be held from August 25 to 31, 2007, in Lugano, Switzerland.

The 19th International Symposium on Implementation and Application of Functional Languages has put out a call for papers. "The aim of the IFL symposia is to bring together researchers actively engaged in the implementation and application of functional and function-based programming languages. They provide an open forum for researchers who wish to present and discuss new ideas and concepts, work in progress, preliminary results, etc. related primarily but not exclusively to the implementation and application of functional languages."

The symposium will be held from September 27 to 29, 2007, in Freiburg, Germany.

PyCon UK 2007 has put out a call for papers. "PyCon UK is a conference all about the Python programming language, it's aimed at the Python community: Python users and programmers, of all skill levels."

The conference will be held on September 8 and 9, 2007, in Birmingham.

The Fifth ASIAN Symposium on Programming Languages and Systems has put out a call for papers. "APLAS aims at stimulating programming language research by providing a forum for the presentation of recent results and the exchange of ideas and experience in topics concerned with programming languages and systems."

The paper submission deadline is June 15, 2007. The symposium itself will be held from November 29 to December 1, 2007 in Singapore.

It has been announced that registration is now open for Smalltalk Solutions 2007. The conference will be held from April 30 to May 2, 2007 in Toronto, Canada.

The ACM SIGAda 2007 International Conference has put out a call for participation. "This conference focuses on safety, security and high reliability systems and the issues related to their development. Topics such as applied software engineering principles, conforming to specific safety or security standards, testing philosophies, programming language selection, etc. will be discussed."

The conference will be held from November 4 to 8, 2007, in Washington, DC.

The Dynamic Languages Symposium 2007 has put out a call for papers. It is "a forum for discussion of dynamic languages, their implementation and application."

Papers are due by June 1, 2007. The symposium itself will be held on October 22, 2007, in Montreal, Canada.
