It has been announced that registration is now open for the Eighth Symposium on Trends in Functional Programming. The list of accepted talks is also available. TFP "is an international forum for researchers with interests in all aspects of functional programming languages, focusing on providing a broad view of current and future trends in Functional Programming."

It will be held from April 2 to 4, 2007, in New York, USA.

PPDP 2007 Call for Papers

The 9th International ACM SIGPLAN Symposium on Principles and Practice of Declarative Programming has put out a call for papers. "PPDP 2007 aims to provide a forum that brings together those in the declarative programming communities, including those working in the logic, constraint and functional programming paradigms, but also embracing a variety of other paradigms such as visual programming, executable specification languages, database languages, AI languages and knowledge representation languages used, for example, in the "semantic web"."

Submissions are due by March 27, 2007. It will be held from July 14 to 16, 2007, in Wroclaw, Poland.

2007 GCC Developers' Summit Call for Papers

The 2007 GCC Developers' Summit has put out a call for papers. "The GCC Developers' Summit is the premier technical conference for GCC and GNU Toolchain developers to discuss the developments of the past year and the plans for the coming year." The GNU Compiler Collection is a portable compiler system including front-ends for C, C++, Java, Objective-C, Objective-C++, Fortran and Ada, and supporting a variety of target platforms.

Proposal submissions are due by February 5, 2007. The summit will be held in Ottawa, Canada, from July 18 to 20, 2007.

The 2007 International Rexx Symposium has been announced, and has put out a call for papers. "This four-day technical conference will address topics related to the Rexx family of programming languages: Classic Rexx, NetRexx, and Open Object Rexx." "The technical program will feature topics addressing Rexx solutions to business problems, application development challenges, Rexx language enhancements and extensions, novel Rexx programming ideas, and the design and implementation of Rexx interpreters and compilers."

Presentation and formal paper proposals are due by February 23, 2007. The symposium itself will be held from April 30 to May 3, 2007, in Tampa, Florida.
